ORLANDO, FLA.–(InfoComm 2013)–SeeVogh was awarded InfoComm 2013′s Best in Show, in partnerships by Telepresence Options, for their soon to be released Plenary meetings video conferencing technology.

SeeVogh beat out over 986 exhibitors at InfoComm 2013. InfoComm 2013, the annual conference and exhibition for professional audiovisual buyers and sellers worldwide, held June 8-14 in Orlando, Fla. was visited by the record number of 35,126 professionals attending from more than 110 countries.

“The Plenary addition to our offering really bridges the webinar world with the video conferencing world”, said Philippe Galvez, CEO, SeeVogh, “We have everything that you get traditionally with video conferencing, but we are bringing it to the webinar venue. The use cases are innovative and numerous. With its release in a few weeks we think a number of new market opportunities will open, and the industry will see a shift away from the current restrictive video conferencing tools and even old school webinar solutions.”

Plenary meetings is a general term for various meeting configurations where presenters and audiences can interact. One or more presenters can send video, audio and share anything on their desktop with other presenters and the audience.
What is unique is the audience has the ability to interact with the presenters by electronically raising their hand.

The meeting moderator can promote one or more audience members to presenter status so they can be seen and heard by the others in the meeting. When finished speaking that promoted member of the audience can then be demoted back to an audience member. This functionality provides greater community intimacy while keeping the bandwidth and CPU load to a minimum for all meeting attendees.
